I had paid PPI in the 90’s with bank loans and did not feel confident enough to try and reclaim myself. I did some research and Civil Claims came out as one of the best companies to deal with, as can be seen by the reviews. My claims handler is Sarah Currie and she is an absolute star. Nothing is too much trouble and is a pleasure to speak with her.

Like other reviews I had been getting hounded by cold callers from other companies regarding PPI and was very wary of being cold called and didn’t sign up with them.
I decided to do an on line search myself and It seemed Civil Claims had good reviews so decided to bite the bullet and make contact . The initial information was clear and didn’t seem too onerous. I was informed that it would be up to me if I decided to go ahead and that I would not be pestered by calls and true to their word they left it up to me. Once the forms are completed and sent in you can request regular updates or you will be contacted if they need further info. Civil claims respond to e-mail or phone calls very quickly and take time to explain what is going on.
To be honest I didn’t think I’d had any PPI but thought why not see and lo and behold apparently I had and just received a payment this week for one of my Claims. Civil Claims are still working on some other Claims for me so Im sure they will work very hard

“After a bit of ear bashing from the missus- I thought I’ve nothing to lose.”
I was one of the sceptics, “what’s the point in applying”. After a bit of ear bashing from the Missus “you’ve got nothing to lose” and there’s now a deadline, I decided to give it a try.
I looked through the reviews online. This company was in the top 5, and with acceptable fees, so I got in touch. I received the claims pack promptly, completed whatever information I had available and sent it back. The paperwork was really straightforward,
I was assigned a claims handler “Lee”, who gave me a call and clearly explained the process, what to expect, “it may take time”, the fees etc. so I sat back and waited.
Out of the blue I received a call from Lee, he sounded really happy, with good reason, i’d received a payout. He genuinely sounded pleased for me. Little was I to know this wasn’t the only call i’d receive, awesome.
I also spoke with Ellie, she sent me status updates on my claims and was also able to help with any questions I had. All the staff are so helpful, and at the end of the phone if I have a question.
I could probably have done this without using a company, but I reckon if I hadn’t found civil claims I may not have bothered, they just made it so simple.

I was one of those who thought I didn’t have PPI however my partner said to at least try. Well I was wrong as I had quite a few and Civil Claims were great in handling these for me. As a busy mum I would never have done it on my own. Civil claims kept me in the loop all the way and were extremely helpful and professional. Hardly any paperwork and only a few questions so don’t be put off. Definitely would recommend this company.
